spare tire storage

Default spare tire storage

just bought a 2000 2 door 2wd blazer with rear lift glass. the spare is inside and it takes up a lot of space, is there any way to mount under or anything i can get to mount outside like a swing away. thanks for your help

if you have a roof rack on the car, you could do like some others have and strap the spare to the roof. Just be sure to get a cover for the tire so the sun doesnt eat it up.

I dont think theres enough clearence under the back of the blazer to mount it under like a four door. The only option besides the roof rack mentioned above, would be to get the spare tire rack from ebay or a junk yard. Someone else might be able to chime in on how in depth an install would be.
