tire help...what other rims fit?
#1
hey guys, recently picked a 2000 s10 2wd. i took the factory wheels off to sell but now i have a dilema. i want to still be able to move this truck in and out of my shop. i had a set of 2wd blazer rims older style that i put on the front. i also had a set of older 4x4 rims that i put on the rear and they bolt up but their rubbing the frame and i cannot move the truck because the tires are rubbing the frame so badly. i need a set of tires just for moving the truck around. i have a couple of parts vehicles sitting around. for example a few asto van tires and older style gmc c20 style vans. also a set of wheels from a 5 lug chevrolet pickup. will any of these fit on the s10? if not what other vehicles have the same bolt pattern as the s10. a list or something would be very helpful.thanks
and what about camaro wheels? i have a few of those laying around as well. also have some 85 el camino wheels, 69 cutlass wheels, 97-03 grand prix wheels, some old rally wheels, westerns, stuff like that. just using it to move it around a little bit so buying spacers and stuff is not worth it. i find so many list but so many ppl disagreeing as well.

^I've seen people do that. And as long as your not driving it, shouldn't cause much of a problem. Actually there is a guy on cardomain with a lifted s10 if I remember right that was actually driving it with backwards mounted rims
If you have a 93 and older camaro, trans am, or firebird they should be the same bolt pattern and around 4 inch of backspace. The factory bolt pattern is the 5x4.75 or 5x120.7. But you can also use 5x120 pattern rims. Some people debate this because it can put strain on the lug nuts, but your not driving it so it shouldn't be any problem. Plus thats a more common bolt pattern than the s-series one.
Yeah the 4x4 has a two inch bigger backspace that makes the wheels sink in more.
