tire question
does getting bigger tires cause the speedometer to read inaccurate?
#2
Yes, along with the odometer. There are several online calculators that will give you the difference, and here's one.
#3
Yes, but as long as you are just going up a tire size or two, the inaccuracy will hardly be noticeable.

ok, good to know thanks guys

What size tires do you plan on running? Im also assuming you have the stock size now 235/75/15?

I'm running a different size tire than stock. I even used the Tech2 scanner to program the new tires in, and my speedo is still off...at least compared to my GPS. When I pass the mobile "Your speed is...." things that cops set out on the side of the road, the speedo is off, but the GPS matches exactly, every time.

I put 205 50 15's on my 88 s10 2wd , my speedo read 135km/h when i was going 100 lol
