Not trying to jack the thread but ive also looked into spacers at least until i get the money for rims with a diff. offset. But the question i have is how safe are they, heard stories of it snapping the lug bolts right off. Anyone had problems with spacers and how aggressive are you when it comes to offroad?

 

one little question, having a different bs wheel be like having wheel spacers? reason i ask, i too want the zr2 wide stance.

 

Ya the backspacing will change how far out your wheels will be. For example i think the stock 4x4 rims have a 7inch backspacing and if you were to get rims with a 5inch backspacing your wheels would stick out 2 more inches. I believe this is correct.

 

6' stock on a 4x4 blazer, but the idea is the same
