weird never seen anything like it, i saw this on another forum,
Bulges on Tire Sidewall



There are over (12) tire brands currently on RECALL that
your local Offroad 4WP Store and other Tire Companies have sold.

Reasons:: A Bulge Can Occur in the Lower Sidewall on the
White Sidewall Which Indicates the Existence of a
Separation Between Two Lower Sidewall Components.
The Cooper Tire Co. manufactures just some of
the following 183,602 Units Affected on the RECALL List below,
Pro Comp Xtreme A/T
Cooper Discoverer S/T,
Dean Mud Terrain Radial SXT
Durango Radial XTR,
Mastercraft Courser C/T,
**** Cepek Radial F-C II,
Mesa C/T,
Tempra Trailcutter Radial RT.

If this is your case, then the local 4 Wheel Parts Performance
Center is required by law to replace them ABSOLUTELY FOR FREE
No Additional Charges for Balance and Rotation, etc.,

I would advise against clicking any of the links in this post or any threads posted by Saint until further notice.

I have seen that on another forum before though... but I only clicked the first few and got bored...
But...as I look at the post some more...it seems odd that they include worn, old, odd-branded tires in a pro-comp/4WP recall alert. So...After some more checking, it looks like each forum that this exact 'warning' gets posted in, the author has a few useless posts, then posts this. AND....the thread is identical, up to the last links that are for more/further/complaints/etc action.
So...I concurr TBB....NO CLICKY. This really should just get deleted.
Any one else notice the sudden increase in negative press targeting 4 wheel parts performance centers? This is the 2nd or 3rd thread against them with no real evidence/usefull-ness....and they seem to be circulating the forums..odd...

i would really like to know what you are smoking because i would like to have some myself.
HOW ISN'T A TIRE RECALL USEFUL FOR ANY MEMBER HERE, you even have a RECALL and TSB section all to itself.

Those photos are examples of BULGES..............anybody can see that........but if you want pro comp...........here they come

The problem with these pics is that there is no proof at all or any explanation. That is a sliced sidewall...Doesn't look like a recall worthy tire to me.
