Wheel Expert Needed
Hello. I'm new to the forum and need some wheel fitment help. I inherited a 2002 4wd Jimmy and want to upgrade the stock wheels.
I found a set of replica 2010 Camaro SS wheels with a 5 x 120.65 bolt pattern, 40mm offset and a 67.1mm center hub diameter. 20x9 2010 Camaro SS Wheels Rims Black Machine Face on eBay.ca (item 270588097462 end time 28-May-11 12:09:54 EDT) The bolt pattern and offset seem to work for my 4wd. My question is will I need to to change the studs or anything else to make these wheels fit correctly? Any help or direction would be greatly appeciated. Bryan L. |
Nope, should bolt up without a problem.

Thanks. Found out that the 2010 Camaro wheel hub is 3.2mm smaller than the Jimmy hub.
My only concern left is will the smaller center hub bore on these replica wheels be an issue? |
Hmmmm... I thought the new 5th gen Camaros were 5x120.0mm bolt pattern. I would make sure they are indeed 5x120.65 before ordering. It's possible they replicated them with the bolt pattern necessary for older Camaros
However, if the hub is smaller on the wheels, then they won't fit on your truck. You could possibly add some sort of spacer though. I've seen some 1/4" or 3/8" spacers at auto parts stores that should push the wheel just far enough away from the hub so that the hub diameter is a non-issue. You may need to get longer studs if you go with a thinner spacer like that |
That's what I was afraid of. Spacers are a cheaper option however do you think a machine shop could open up the wheel hub enough to clear?
