Wheel Question
I know this topic has been covered over and over I'm sure, but I'm looking to purchase some Cragar Soft 8's for my 2000 4dr LS 4x4. I'd like to keep the tires I have right now (235/75/15), but I'd like to know if I will run into issues if I purchase the 15x7 or 15x8 with 4" backspacing.
These are the wheels that I would purchase:

I have a stock suspension, so that means no BL for me
So what do you guys recommend? 15x7 or 15x8? And will I run into issues with this?

RE: Wheel Question
The back spacing is what will hurt.
This is pushing the wheels out 1.5" per side which may make the tires hit on the front and rear of the fender while turning.

RE: Wheel Question
Would this be in a hard corner or generally speaking when turning?

Also, would a BL eliminate this fender rubbing?

RE: Wheel Question
Those are 15x8 Pro Comp Crawlers with 4.5' backspacing. Stock tires (235/75/15). Granted they were very worn in, but there was plenty of room. I doubt you will have any issues with clearances on stock tires...but since your rims are 4.0' you might be close. If you do rub, you'll hit at the very bottom at the back of wheel wells at full lock turn WITH suspension compression. If you do rub, just stay away from the front parking spots, and avoid driveways
A body lift would definitely eliminate any clearance issues, but with a 2' body lift you could fit 31x10.50s fine, so if you're considering the lift, you might as well go for the bigger tire [8D] Then again, with the 4' backspacing, you'll probably rub with a tire that big. I've got a 2' body lift, 2' shackles, and I trimmed the metal. Now, I only rub offroad but at the top of the fender. Its a fair trade off though

RE: Wheel Question
i have stock suspention right now with 235/75/r15 with 3.5in of back space, i rub when i hit large bumps, or crank the wheel.

RE: Wheel Question
So the OPs 4' rims would probably hit then. If my stock ones (although worn) cleared with 4.5, and you rub with 4...I'd say just get the rims he wants, but be prepared to crank the tbars ~1' alleviate the rubbage.

RE: Wheel Question
Thanks guys, I appreciate the feedback.
Now my decision is to buy the wheels now, or get the valves done on my bike first lol.
