Please don't put washers behind the wheels... there are only so many blazers out there and they aren't making any more of them. lol

i will ask first... why with the spacers? What will you be doing to need the wider stance? I only ask in the name of safety.

I can only imagine a kid using cheapo ebay spacers and getting the truck jacked up on a rock trail or something. thats why i ask.

^^ exactly why i metioned getting new wheels with a different BS, but apperently the safe route is to expensive for him

i believe u measure from center of bolt to center of bolt to get bolt pattern..?

i think thats how you measure. its just harder when it comes down to things like 4.5 inch vs 4.6 inch and so forth.

spacers weaken the tightness and strength of the wheel being on correct?

if you use a high qaulity spacer and install it correctly you shouldnt see any ill effects, youll just have to check/re-tighten the bolts that hold the spacer to the hub periodicly and depending on how big the spacer is youll have to add longer studs. a rim with less backspacing will achieve the same look as a spacer, but with less safety concerns and less hastle IMO.

so what should you want bigger or smaller back spacing?say on a 8 inch wide rim. 8 is factory right?

8"wide is factory on the extreme and zq8 wheels (16x8 4.5"BS) 2wd rims are 15x7 with 4.5"BS and 4wd rims are 15x7 with 6"BS

the less backspacing a rim has the more itll stick out.
