who has painted their lug covers/center caps??
ive got my black rims and Im wanting to do the lug nut caps a neon/lime green...
first problem is finding a paint that will stick
second is finding lime green that will hold up
at O'reilleys theres the lime green lookin dupli-color engine enamel which the guy said would adhere if you painted it in a warm environment...
thoughts?

I think he means the center caps...not the lug nuts themselves.

I painted my center caps.
Used Krylon Fusion paint, which is supposed to be really good stuff for painting plastics because it bonds with the material. It's held up for 1.5 Canadian winters so far.
Make sure you put on a few coats and the clear coat the hell out of it.

I'm gonna put some pictures up here soon...
I end up using rust-oleum plastic primer on the lug caps AND center cap.
On the lug covers I topcoated with my lime green rust oleum paint
The center caps are primed so I figure if they have primer I'm going to use the same engine enamel I used on the rims themselves.
Should I go over the lug caps to make them tougher?
