Yes. It will be an inch taller and make your speedo read slower.

 

Get your speedo re-calibrated if you want it to read correctly.

I had Goodyear Wrangler Radial P235/75R15s put on my truck today (the door label calls for P235/70R15). They work great and they look nice. The tread is so deep I left a mud trail 100 feet long leaving the tire place because the parking lot was full of mud. I had Goodyear Wrangler AT/S LT215/75R15s on there before and the speedometer was reading 2-3 mph faster than the car was actually going (verified by GPS). With the new tires, it is completely accurate. The speed on the speedometer is the same as what is on the GPS.

 

I been looking for good A/T tires but its hard to pick one lol. been looking at Goodyear Wrangler Radial (dont seem bad for the price), Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac, Dunlop Radial Rover R/T, and the BFG All Terrain T/A KO. Want a some good tires that going to last a couple of years. And want something for Mudding on the weekends with the kids. this will be my first time buying some A/T tires so im a little excited. Just dont want to waste money on a bad pick lol

 

yes cuz 75 is a biger ratio than 70 the circle and yes it might be off a bit ratio but you can have the speed fixed make it correct

 

My '96 4x4 Blazer also came with stock 215/70/R15s. As soon as those things were worn, I replaced them with 235/75/R15s, which looked 10 times better. The only problem I encountered was that the backspacing of the aftermarket wheels caused rubbing, so I also had to get a lift. However, if you are using stock rims, this tire size should fit with no problem.

I used my Hypertech III to reprogram the speedo, but if you don't have a programmer tool, just about any shop should be able to do it for you.

@XtreemeBlazer: I had the Bridgestone Dueler AT Revos. They're excellent tires for both snow and mud, and aren't too noisy on dry pavement either. I also plan to get some for my Silverado after I lift it. Tire Rack sells them.
