03 trailblazer fan clutch

Default 03 trailblazer fan clutch

i have a 03 trailblazer w/ a fan clutch it roars when you go down the road so i changed it but it seem to disengage is their anything else i can check

Can you be more specific as to the problem you are experiencing? Is the check engine light on? If it is, have you had the codes scanned (Autozone, Advanced Auto, and many other retailers do this for free).

Also, what brand of clutch did you install? Did you make sure that the electrical connection was fully seated? With the GMT360/370 platform, the operation of the fan clutch is PCM controlled and monitored. If the PCM senses anything wrong with the fan clutch, it will set a code and trigger the check engine light.
