Default 2002 Trailblazer 2wd inttermitent ABS light

I am experiencing an inttermitent ABS light on my 2002 Trailblazer and would like all possible solutions. I have currently replaced the front disk pads and had the car to two shops that repeated the same resolution. The code is a ground and the dealer and a seperate repair shop both tried cleaning around and behind the control module. The problem still exists. I have been reading several statement about the condition and possible resolutions, they range from cleaning sensors, replacing wiring, replacing wheel bearings and make sure the wheel bearings come with sensors. Please feel free to provide your experience.

No codes were found in the ECM, ABS code was C0265 poor ground,They checked all connections at the EBCM and cleand ground, code was cleared . About two to three weeks later it came back. They recleaned and it came back again. It is still intterment presently. Thanks JHH.

C0265 is not a poor ground, that might be why they can't find the problem! Here is the flow chart to follow, very easy to diagnose: https://blazerforum.com/forum/diagno...plained-35164/

Yeah, that code deals with the ECBM itself and testing depends on which brake control module you have. I have updated that link to include the information for the GMT360 trucks like yours since previously the information was for the s-series trucks.

I was having the same problem with my 01 Blazer. Ended up being the module itself was bad. Had it rebuilt by modulemaster.com. No problems two year later. The KH 325 modlues are famous for going out.

Good info. I went to the module master sight and they too sent me to some electrical checks. I did not know that you could pull the unit and keep driving , but will have to wait for the rain to stop. I was also told by the dealer service department that I have two control modules , is this true . Thanks again. JHH

I only see the EBCM on the wiring schematics I have available for a 2002 GMT360 truck.

I have another condition that I am not sure about . I recently replaced the battery and altenator because of failure to charge. When I replaced the altenator and started the engine , it flucuated and stopped running at idle. It did this for about three times in the garage. I ran it on the highway for about 10 miles at 55 MPH and it has not come back. Is this normal or should I be concerned. Thanks JHH
