hey it's bravo99 here wondering about a potential fix for deleting posts that land in the wrong thread. At least on the mobile version your related topics is directly under your edit button. so when you try to edit something and think you hit the edit button, half the time you end up sending it to a "related" thread you did not intend. When you go to delete everything from that thread IE the whole post, a message comes up saying your post must contain five characters. So as you can see from a 2017 thread that I accidentally revived I used 5 periods just because LOL. Is there any way to fix this so that there's a full delete from thread option?

 

A staff member will need to delete the post.

 

oh okay I just thought I would be easier if authors could delete their own posts. but in general I don't text much for exactly that reason too LOL.

 

The forum was setup that way once upon a time. Then childish members decided to delete all of their posts/threads when they didn't get their way and there went that privilege.
