How so? Help people with the correct information and they +Rep you. Give them bad info and they -Rep you.

We can just as easily turn it off, but it does give an indication of how much weight to give to a particular person when in a discussion. Consistently leave bad/off advice and you'll find yourself in the red pretty quick.

 

Well personally I think, just like eBay, there is immature people who will leave negative feedback just for the heck of it. Aside from that I have no problem with the concept.

 

How many points does it drop for one bad vote?
