moved
what does that mean next to a post
#2
It means that, for whatever reason, a staff member has moved a thread to what they believe is a more appropriate section of the Forum. For example, this thread has been moved from 'New Member Area' section to 'Website Problems and Suggestions'.

merely a suggestion as i am a total novice to computers and a new member, can you say where it moved to, along with the word...i,e., moved to...

If you are seeing a "MOVED: XYZ Post", that is just a redirect link in the section the post was originally placed by the author. If you click on the link, it will take you to the thread where the new section will be listed near the top of the page.
No need to overly complicate things with more description in the redirect links that will typically be removed automatically by the forum software anyway. Besides, our sections are quite clearly labeled with more than adequate descriptions. If you choose appropriately, it would be less likely that you would have one of your threads moved.
