No more animated avatars?

Did the blazer forum do away with .gif and .png image extensions for avatars?

Well, yes... But I was referring to changing mine to another animated avatar. It says that .gif or .png extensions aren't allowed when I tried to change it.

Edit: Well darn, it worked this time. Maybe the server was busy or something last time I tried.
