is anyone else having difficulty using the search box for threads?

 

What problem are you having with it? I just tried a search for the word 'distributor' in the title and got 182 threads listed.

 

It works for me, to the extent that it works at all.

I often find better results by clicking on one of the search results there and going to the bottom to "similar threads." Those results can sometimes be more relevant, even if they aren't at the top of the forum search.

Sometimes, if I don't find what I'm looking for on the forum search, I go to google, type my search terms and add "+site:blazerforum.com" to the end. That will use google's search and database to search for results restricted to just this site. You can put any domain after the "+site:" to search only that site with google.

 

it might be my own equipment issue. when i use my tablet and click in the text box the box disappears as well as my on screen keyboard, not sure why, doesn't do it on any other site, just saying, it got pretty frustrating trying to page through 1000 pages of threads. When i'm on my phone it wont even show that i'm logged in even though it pops up with the 2nd page telling you thanks for logging in and it will re-direct you. Now i'm on my desk top and it all works fine. Needles to say i appreciate the help, that's why i came here, Happy Memorial Day !!
