It would be nice to have gen specific threads so someone with a 69-72, 73-? etc. so people wouldnt have to thumb through thread after thread to get to their specific generation K5 or what ever they have.

 

I'll look into it, but it hasn't happened to date simply because there hasn't been enough discussion in that section to warrant it. Given that there is just over two pages of threads from 2020 furthers that point.

When the s-series sections were created, the main section was closed to new threads while leaving existing threads open for discussion and the generation specific sections were opened for new threads. You still had to scroll through all of the main section for existing threads if you wanted to see what was out there as only new threads would be in the new sections. It would be very labor intensive to move all of the existing threads into the generation specific sections as the threads do not always hold the necessary information to identify where they should go (info could have been in a signature that changed or a picture that is no longer available for viewing, etc.).

 

Yeah i can see that, would be kinda a pain in the arsenal.
