This 2002 Chevrolet Blazer is my daily driver. This truck sees about 40km /day when I use it. Good and reliable for the most part, but she needs to see some repairs (in progress!)
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
None as of yet. Blew a U-joint and bent the drive shaft so I replaced it with the one off my 1995 Jimmy.
Suspension Modifications:
New Monroe front shocks.
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
Have a set of 31" Goodyear Wranglers for it. Not sure if I'm going to lift it and run them.
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
After being banged up decently by the previous owner the entire drivers side of the truck is from my 1995 donor truck. With slight modification to the inside door panels to accommodate second generation door handles & styles and a coat of paint the doors fit perfectly.
Entire factory (non-bose) was removed and replaced with aftermarket Alpine Type R component speakers (in front and rear) with custom mount rear tweeters.
Truck was also early 2002 so it came equipped with the 1.5 Din radio and respective dash panel. Thanks to a wrecked late 2002 Canadian Rail service Blazer this has been fixed with a new dash bezel for future double-din install.
Future Modifications:
Double din radio down the line. Soon to be doing intake gasket.
