Tell the world a little bit about your vehicle
Purchased March 2012, with 218000km (135490 miles) on the odometer. Had been saving up and planning to buy a Blazer for half a year before I did... Stock condition more or less, very minor rust, some paint wear and a few chips come off, most everything working good. Known transmission P1870 code issue, but proved not to affect driveability much. (Very slight slipping in 1st, occasional hard 1.-2. shifts.) Have a spare transmission sitting in the garage just in case but putting off transmission repairs for the time being. Previous owner thought new sway bar bushings were needed, but noises came from lower ball joint. Upper was not too good either, so replaced both. Still had slight metallic noises "somewhere in front of windshield - google directed me to checking hood hinges for slop. Fixed that too, all is nice and quiet now! Also replaced dead rear wiper motor with reman unit from Cardone. Have had to replace left side rear brake shoes. Lining had come loose on one of them, no idea how, when or why. Brakes may need a little more work.
These trucks are few and far between in my country (Norway) and stand out from the rest in ANY parking lot. Love my Blazer already!

Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Seat covers because of worn leather on driver's seat kids in the back etc. Not a lot more yet.

Future Modifications:
Mud flaps. Cold air intake. Fuel economy experiments. (Volo chip? HHO system??) Better fog lights. Winter stuff. Read more ยป
