Tell the world a little bit about your vehicle
its weird, this truck is supposed to have mpi but has the smpi fuel system, it was either a mid year change, or someone went to alot of time and money to upgrade the fuel system

Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
stock 4.3, still had 180 psi compression on all 6. gets 23 highway mpg, 17 city. must be the 3.42 gearing.

Wheels/Tires Modifications:
had 235-70-15 tires stock. had a extra set of wheels that were 15 x 6 and ive polished them up and put 225-70-15 tires on. overall outside diameter is the same as the oringinal configuration.

Interior/Exterior Modifications:
homemade mud flaps made from one 36 x 24 semi-trailer mud flap. about $8.00

want to put the 3.73 ratio axles from my '95 parts blazer into this one. Read more ยป

painted rear drums also, they were really rusty, had been turned last august, so inside was good. we'll see how well the paint holds up.

rear axleshafts, i worked on the bearing/seal surface as best as i could with scotchbrite pads. surprizeingly the bearings looked good. gave it new seals and hope for the best, was soaking the left side shoes with 80w90. low on diff oil when i got it.

blazer with my single axle 6x10 box trailer. pulls it fine but does it ever work it. of course i dont use o/d when towing, gets about the same as the ranger when pulling, 10-12. it doesnt stop as well as the ranger does. this was before my brake job with new front rotors/calipers. im going to try it again sometime. the automatic is great for manurvering in tight spots, the ranger is a std shift and i use 4L with the front hubs unlocked when backing with it.
