Bought for $700 bucks with a dozy transmission(no reverse, or 2nd) drove it home put it up on jack stands for a couple months for repairs
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
dropped and re-built the transmission - did 'The Beast' implant :) - regular internals for the rest and only what it really needed - clutch packs etc (first time i ever re-built ANYTHING!!!)
Popped an extra 1 7/8" hole in the bottom of the air box - seems to breathe a little easier now
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
205/75 R15's :( - snows left over from previous vehicle
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Minor body work under rear top light, rear passenger door, bit of paint along the bottom.
Rear tire carrier from a 2 door - spare dropped off from under during brake work - stupid cable...
Future Modifications:
Figure out if/what is different on the 'offroad ZM6' suspension from my parts blazer and make full use of it :)
T-bar crank, shackles
Mild body lift
Custom intake manifold- either the Edelbrock 2114 or a modified stock intake. Target: to fit Bosch injectors for true MPFI
True dual with X-pipe (because i CAN)
Bush bar with driving lights
Removable light bar with 'OFFROAD' lights
Skid plates
Find SOME way to get the rear wheels to line up with the front ones... on a budget....right.
5-speed manual? (i'd LOVE this, but, well, i just REBUILT the automatic damnit!!!)
Fab up/install a storage cubby where the spare used to be - with access hatch in the floor of cargo area (maybe refrigerate it to keep beer in ;))
