Description:
Pictures of some of the modifications that have been made to my 2002 factory original 4.3 5-speed LS model, that now has a 389" stroker SBC, 700r4 Trans. built to the hilt, 8 pt. cage, 15 gallon alum. fuel cell, 10an braided fuel line w/Nomex in the Engine bay area to behind the trans. Has 1 qt. spin-on fuel filter and electric fuel pump feeding a w/mechanical hi-pressure fuel pump, B&M Megashifter with line lock button B&M T-handle and new cable. Eliminated the Anti-lock, installed distribution valve for Disc/Disc set up. new 7" booster, Hedman Husler Fenderwell exit Race headers, 8.8 rear axle 31 spline axle with Strange spool and 4.11 gears. wheels are 15 x 10 rear and 15 x 4 fronts, Tires are 295/50r15's on the rear and 165/80r15's up front. Soon to be hooked-up Doug Thorley 4"dia. 46"L side pipes w/Hooker Super Comp Max-Flo Mufflers.

Was my DD till June 2012, then I swapped in a V* and it became my weekend toy and Harley Trailer hauler.

Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
389" SBC,700r4 built, 2800 non- lockup stall,15 gal. aluminum fuel cell w/Nomex covered -10an line front to rear, BG fuel Pump, 1 quart alum. spin-on fuel filter, 4 row aluminum Radiator with dual fans, External trans. cooler, A-pillar gauges and monster tach w/shift light.

Suspension Modifications:
Belltech lowering parts all the way around, coils, spindles, leafs, and shocks, custom traction bars, on narrowed 8.8 31 spline axle with 4.11 gear and spool.

Wheels/Tires Modifications:
Jegs Sport Lite 8 hole aluminum wheels, 15x10 rear, 15x4 front on 295/50s rear tires and 165/80 front tires

Interior/Exterior Modifications:
8 pt. S&W roll cage, JAZ seats, RHS 5pt. harnesses, B&M 700r4 Megashifter w/ roll control.

Future Modifications:
Currently removed shorty headers and dual exhaust, and installing Hedman Husler 1 3/4" tube, 3" collector fenderwell exit headers, ran into Doug Thorley 4" diameter side pipes 46" long with Hooker Super Comp Max Flo slip-in Side Pipe mufflers. Read more ยป

Out @ the Somersnite Cruise-In smoking up some new 2014 Mustang GT's with Whipple S/C and Drag radials plus tune job. Got him by 6 lengths by the end of 3rd gear.

Drove it like this for 6 years as a daily driver, was still a 4.3 factory 5 speed then. Didn't own it 6 months and had the Belltech lowering components all the way around and the wheels and tires.
