Blazer snowcat

Blazer snowcat

Description:
1975 Blazer. It was converted onto snowcat tracks by a company in Vancouver. DEMAC Industries. I dont know much about them other than they converted vehicles like this to use in the oil patch for crews. I've never seen another one like it. I talk to people who say they have but I've yet to find another one. If anyone knows of another one I'd like to meet the owner to talk tech. It's a pretty good vehicle for my uses. Deep snow and extreme terrain in this remote area. It was in quite rough condition mechanically when I purchased it but have gotten it up to spec now. patpyrz@hotmail.com

The body worker that did the fender work did a fab job. Formed sheet metal with limited amount of bondo. Since it never sees the paved roads it has stayed in great shape.
It has a 350 cid, turbo 350 trans, H/L range

The only rust I have is in the rear window mechanism. Needs to be all replaced to make work again.
Rear bumper is 36 in off the ground which is about same height of oil pan. I've submerged/driven it in slush/water that was over the tracks.
