I did not have any issues with the #3 plug on my old 2000 Bravada. It seems to be a crap shoot...

As far as OEM numbers... The stock plugs for your truck were AC Delco 41-993. The stock wire set is under GM #88862392 (AC Delco #9746T).

Is there any difference between Delphi parts and AC Delco parts? Most of the parts under my hood are labeled Delphi, but online sites list OE parts as both Delphi and Delco.

But the kicker...my plug wires are Delphi wires, but plugs were Delcos, and I'm 90% sure they were factory originals.

I believe it started as being plant dependent. In the end, it was luck of the draw. Multiple suppliers is a good thing in the manufacturing world. RockAuto.com also lists the Delphi replacements.

Well tore into the zr2, got the plugs in just fine no problems with the #3 plug.. But routing the new wires was a damn pain, these trucks have no room to work with and the dist. cap left side wires under the heater hoses was the worst..
