Question Ball Joint Problems

Hey guys!! Been awhile since I've been on but I guess thats a good thing right? Anyway, had a problem the other day. Sparing all the boring details, My upper ball joint on the right front side of the Blazer went to crap. Luckily I was slowing for a stop sign and only a few blocks from home when it happened! I had it towed back to my house and my buddy who's a great wrench, said we'd replace them all. My questions are these:
How much of a pain is this job for our Blazers?-My buddy has done these jobs before, but not on a Blazer
What price and brands are the right ones?? Autozone had prices ranging from $21 to $ 71!! Advance Auto had all sorts of prices also! So that confused me too!
Finally, any special advice you can lend pertaining to this job that I should know going in? I do have a Haynes manual, but am unsure how detailed it is concerning this job.
Again--all advice is welcomed and needed. Thanks!!

Well if you had it break you may want to change the lower also because it was probably stressed pretty good on the uppers failure. Along with the other corners since if one upper failed the other wont be far behind it. As far as pricing goes definetly do not get the cheap ones unless you want this to happen again in a few months. Moog is a good brand and the spicer professionals seem to be good also, they are what the rebranded napa ones are.
