Hey that is the new improved spider I was looking for to put in the used engine I purchased to replace the old engine that has a stuck valve. I see Amazon has the best prices on AC Delco so I think I will just use AC Delco. For $55 and no more labor you can replace the water pump and thermostat from Amazon while you are under the hood.

ok so i ordered all my parts .

What should i use on my lower intake for a sealant in addition to the felpro gaskets.

i was think of useing a light coat of rty silicone on the heads and apply intake gasket to it and allow to firm up before setting my intake back in place.

is this ok to do

I have the same install questions since I have not yet done the job.

Where did you get the parts at that price. I see Amazon has it for $185 but with 2-5 WEEK ship date where the other sellers have it in stock but it is more like $240 on Amazon?

ok job finished and it runs better than ever . wow what a difference with the new spider and a tune up.

I had issues before with hard starting because of leak down . well not anymore jump in turn the key and it fires right up. i would have bet money my fuel pump was bad.But i guess not.Hold right at 58lbs now awesome.

Thumbs up

Sounds good.

I get that upgraded port injector spider for the 2002 since we have it in the 1998.

What is the point after 200k to wait for it to start wash down the cylinders and wasting gas which may pay for the $180 up grade.
