Unhappy Need Help Finding an Engine Please

Greetings to everyone!! I am in dire need of help. A couple of years ago while coming home from Vermont, the engine on my 1995 Chevy Blazer all of the sudden cut out. Right now my baby is sitting here at home, but my mechanic has be very lazy in trying to find me an engine. I have found out that it is a Split-Engine, an Automatic 4x4 push button. She only has 95,000 K on her and is in MINT condition! I promised her to my son who is now 24...it was a one owner car (was my aunt's). Can anyone help me in finding an engine or know of a place I can get one with UNDER 100,000 K on it?? I really miss my baby and everyday I go and talk to her saying that momma will fix you soon...LOL. Thank you so much for any help...GM is NO HELP at all.

Do this.

go to car-part.com

its a database of junkyards. select your area, select engine etc and you can find the one you want. its fairly reliable. they usually post price, condition and mileage.

Just make sure to call to confirm price etc before you show up.

Check the link below for GM Goodwrench Engines. I am assuming you have a 4.3L V6
4.3 Ltr - 262 C.I.D. - GM ENGINE 1994-1995 Reman 12366016
4.3 Ltr - 262 C.I.D. - GM ENGINE 1994-1995 Reman 12366017

I installed a GM Crate engine in my 89 S15 Jimmy and it has perfect.

Once you know which GM P/N you need you can call around any GM dealership to get a price. I called several dealerships and one had the best price of all them.
