Question

1st of all you got two different fuel injected engines that use a different computer and harness.
2cn the SFI engine is a much better engine that the cpi.
I tried doing the reverse of what your wantig to do I was told that because of so many differnces in the harness and wiring it couldn't be done.I also believe when I attempted to do this swap I was given wrong information.
This what I thik,If theengine and computer harness are separate from the rest of the lectrical suc as lights etc if you swap compuer an harness it will work.
Somebody correct me if Im wrong?

1995 & 1996 are not a good choice for transplant, in either direction. It CAN be done, but it's a LOT of extra work. You would be far better off looking for a 1995 or older "W" engine.
