Dash Gauges

Dash Gauges
After the ****up with buying the wrong white face gauge, I've contacted the e-bay seller & whilst he has the white face gauge for an auto it still differs from my truck.
I'm now curious to know why my gauges are different to those elsewhere.
The main differences are the temp & oil which are in my case are metric but should not present a problem interpreting them.
On the other side is the fuel & battery - again, no problem.
BUT.. with the taco, I see some gauges are graded either to 6k rpm or 7k rpm. This I guess is manual vs auto. (auto reving to the lesser 6K.)
However, in respect of the speedometer, my truck has a max speed of 180km (110mph) & those on e-bay only go as far as 160kph. (100mph) My question is: Is this difference also related to the manual vs auto? With the auto max at 160kph? If so, why then would mine go as far as 180kph?
What about you Canadian guys? I think your trucks are also metric or at least the speedo?
P.S. For coverage reasons I'm also posting on .net

RE: Dash Gauges
Different regions may get different clusters dependent on the local regulations as well as max speed limits of the region.
I am not entirely sure if this scale was programmed into the PCM or only part of the cluster itself. I would think it would be part of the cluster...
