Default Hello all, 2002 Chevy Blazer here.

Recently acquired a 2002 Chevy Blazer with 106k miles on it. Only one previous owner, seems to have been well maintained. Looking forward to taking care of the ol' girl and doing some modifications to it in the future. Just to be clear, I can't really post anywhere else on these forums for awhile, can I? The reason I ask is because I am having a P0101 error code and trying to figure out if it would be a good idea to replace the MAF. Anyway, thanks for reading!

Welcome! Silly question-the MAF is plugged in correct? That can set an MAF code. Don't ask me how I know that

Are you sure it was P1010? P0101 is far more common.

To answer the first reply, yes it's plugged in correctly. To answer the second reply, you are right, my apologies. Slight typo. It is in fact P0101 (MAF or VAF perf).

Also, I have already cleaned the MAF with MAF sensor cleaner, and although it does run better than before I cleaned it, it still is having issues. The issue specifically is that while driving and pressing the gas pedal, periodically the RPMs DROP instead of rising, unless I quickly hit the gas again, in which case the RPMs will rise and then start dropping again. Before I cleaned the MAF, I was getting a stuttering/knocking sensation in overdrive on the highway, and I also stalled once.
