Rocker Panel Rust Repair
Sup Guys? I just started doing some rust repair work on my rocker panels today. I had to grind the previous repair job (truck bed liner) of down to bare metal and then patch the holes that were uncovered. I went to NAPA earlier and was talking to one of the workers and he suggested I use this paint called Chassis Saver. He sad it can be applied right on top of rust and it will IMMEDIATELY stop the rust and provide a watertight seal over the area. I will put up pics of the progress tomorrow.

chassis saver is absolutly great...until you need to grind it off off something to weld...etc...i have it all over my truck on the underside....its def worth the money and saves your vehicle...go by a gallon...jack up the truck and paint the entire frame..everything..you never see rust again

That good huh? I know thats what the guy at NAPA told me but I had my doubts. I plan on doing the frame rails and anywhere else I fancy putting it. Did you just leave yours without a topcoat? Because I was thinking I may use truck bed liner over the Chassis Saver because it says without a topcoat of some sort, the paint will eventually fade to gray.
