They didn't put the spacers in cause they couldn't figure out to install them AND still get the nuts on the end of the bolts...

That was my exact thought after watching youtube videos
Different year blazers..1998 to 2001...all 4x4.. had the spacers.

I just think even if you had a spacer you wouldnt have much thread for the nut. Its fine, dont worry

By the time you torque the nut down to 11 ft lbs there is plenty of room for both the nut and spacer

I usually put slight pressure on the swaybar with a jack when they're brand new to get the nut started if I need to.

I made a set of quick disconnect sway bar links for mine a while back. Always had room for the spacer(I actually tack welded the 2 metal washers to the spacer so it was less parts floating around when I had them disconnected)

.. New Flash..

After looking into this all day, then taking a 5 hour Nap.

....It just dawned on me.. The above photos were taken between June and Nov..

I had the entire front end replaced December 20'th....

Ding ding..Ran down and snapped some pics....

The bushings and washers are correct now....

The only thing is bolts are upside down ..And the no spacer issue....

I want my bolts turned around - ? does that matter ?

and I want my spacers too...LOL

New pic below

I remember also they fired the guy that did my front end 2 wks after i bought it back in June..

[QUOTE=cdtek101;673405]HOLD UP ....WTF... I just noticed I am also missing a spacer on links...

A BIG SHOUT OUT TO chevyriders for initially catching this .

AND...To newguy

As newguy pointed out Bushings are not in correct order.....WTF

I checked other years and they all have this spacer....(see pic below)

Is there a reason I don't...other than ..

SAY IT AINT SO...The shop forgot them...??

the spacer sleeve may also be lodged inside one of the bushings at that point. if it were placed between 2 bushings rather than 2 washers the metal sleeve spacer would press right into the bushing under the weight of the vehicle
