Well, my software is functional and awaiting the obd port-to-usb adaptor I ordered for $12. I'll just say that.

Found and ordered another super-basic scanner for $21 shipped, just for basic ECM code scanning convenience, to replace the Harbour Freight one which was $70. Hopefully I can just use the laptop setup for the rarer occasion that I need to read TCM codes.

I just won this auction ( Cornwell Scanner - OBD1 & OBD2 - Used | eBay )

For a cornwell obd1 & obd2 scanner. Probably dont do everything id like it too but atleast itll work for my 92.
