Sway bar link replacement
Hello
I have to replace both front sway bar links next on my 98 2door. Is there a video online that I could look at or a step by step that I could read so I can DIY.
Any info would be appreciated
Thanks

They are not very hard at all. If they are original, then there is a washer-nut thing on the top of the sway bar link that holds the top part together, instead of a regular nut with a washer underneath. To get it off, I used a pair of vice grips to grab the washer section and loosened it with those. Once the top is off, the rest slides right off. Just install the new one exactly as the old one was.
Sorry if it's a bit brief, but I'm a little pressed for time. Try searching this forum for your question and see what that turns up if you have any other questions.

Agreed, simple repair.
Just as a bit more info, the center bolt could well be rusted into the sleeve, needing a bit of persuasion/surgery.
I always put anti seize paste on replacement fasteners, just an old fashioned way of reducing future grief.........
Good luck.
