Sounds like it may not be getting fuel
The fuel filter on my Supra is clogged and if I spray gas into the throttle body, it start and cut off once that gas burns. It won't take any throttle input at all.
What year is your Blazer and what engine does it have in it? That may help us help you more

99/100 times when all you hear is a clicking noise and then it turns over and starts, your starter is about dead or there isn't enough juice in the battery. It is possible that the red wire from the positive battery post is corroded anywhere along its length and that is causeing the problem. Propably somplace where you cannot see it, like by the exhaust manifold. The heat from the manifold likes to burn away the cables protective coating, causeing the cable to rust out.
Replacing the red wire is cheap and easy. It bolts to the battery, and the other end bolts to the starter. Should be a wire coming from the alternator to the battery post end of the wire too. Buy a replacement cable and install it. They are less then $10.
