Default Replace Fuel Lines or Regulator?

I replaced the f.p.r on my spare 1993 GMC Jimmy a few years back, and it ran smooth after that. So recently when my girlfriend's families 93 Jimmy began having the same problems, I naturally thought it would be the same thing. So I took a gander under the plenum and saw that the driver's side was very clean and had puddles of gas on that side, though the passenger's side is still dirty. I'm inclined to think that this would be symptons of the fuel lines going out? If you guys agree, is it pretty straight forward to do, or is there something I need to know? Or even better, is there a walk through?

Cliff Notes:
1. 1993 Jimmy RUnning rough, gas in the oil, bad gas mileage, tons of carbon through the exhaust, etc.
2. My first thought is that it is the F.P.R
3. Took plenum off, driver's side is clean and has puddles while the passenger side is dirty.
4. Should I replace fuel lines, just fpr or both?
5. Need help on the fuel line install, if new ones are required.

Sounds like the FPR is fine and it is indeed the fuel pressure & return lines that are leaking. With the plenum off, have someone turn the key to prime the system and watch for leaks. You should see it. Do NOT start it, just prime the fuel system.

After you do that, I'd pull the EGR valve and clean the pintle and seat, then reinstall with a screened gasket. And clean the sensor passages in the plenum as well as you can, too.

As for actually doing it, someone else hopefully will chime in before I can find it somewhere - my FPR went like yours, not my fuel lines.

I agree to that assessment. Sounds like the "nut kit", as it commonly is referred to as, is leaking. There really is not much to it. It is fairly straight forward.
