So currently I am looking at purchasing a 1984 Blazer, is there anything I should be aware of before purchasing. This truck will need lots of work but something had been mentioned to me that this wasn't a good year for the Blazer and I should look for something older.

Thoughts.....suggestions?

 

K5 or S10 ? If S10 I owned a 83 and 84 and ran them both to death without any problems .....

Only reason I was hesitant is because I was told the engines weren’t that great then due to all the emission regulations around that time.
