On your front end and CV joints. I usually do all my own work EXCEPT for CV joints. You can't beat the price at a place called Discount Auto Parts in North Ft. Worth. Get there soon enough and you can wait on it. That's pretty much all they do. They're right on I-35W North. Had several vehicles done there and they don't try to sell you stuff you don't need. Their number is (817) 624-1100. I had both front axles done on my 84 Jimmy for about $114.00 each (I think it was). You might want to give them a call. Don't cost anything to talk. Have you checked the fluid level? If your front isn't turning what does your indicator light say? Could be your actuator isn't pulling the cable enough to engage the front end. I have a factory service manual for my 84 Jimmy. You might want to bring your truck by the house sometime and we'll have a look. I live in Keller not too far off SH 114.
