Default 1989 Blazer 4x4,Distributor problems.

My truck is a 1989 blazer 4x4 with a 4.3l v6.I changed the Sensor in side the distributor the one that goes under the Sheild. So i had to pull the whole shaft out the Motor to change it.So now i put it back in and now when i try to start it,it sound like its having a hard time turnning over and back firers threw the throttle body then my starter hammers. Then do it all over again and it turnes over a couple of times then starter hammers again like it cant turn it over.So did i do somthing wrong??Help me please ive been fighting this truck for a week.Thanx a million for any help guys.

Couple of things first - Be patient, some folks are probably watching Monday Night Football. When you make a post, please give it atitle that makes some sense (what the problem is, etc). You have to get some people interested in a thread for them to read it.
It sounds like you did not get the distributor put back in correctly. Take a look at this articleand see if it helps out. Get back with us and let us know.
