What about the torque converter? I ask because when i drive with overdrive off the problem lessens..... It could just be the higher rpms helping a sensor issue, but still a valid suggestion.
YouTube - ‪Cam sensor??‬‏
This might be a problem?? Pass side manifold, what looks like the cam sensor not hooked up. I see no harness going to it... Its been this way since i was given the truck a few months ago
Lastly, the truck threw a code last night. Code 13 (02 sensor reading lean at warm idle)

All tbi involved crap gone![](http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g88/DEFCOM_2007/00608b5a.jpg)
Heads/valley cleaned, ready![](http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g88/DEFCOM_2007/ef0938c5.jpg)
Edelbrock performer intake

Proform distributor on, brake booster hose ect on

Just waiting on the carb to come!
What controls how long/ hard the fuel pump runs, im keeping the in tank and using a fuel pressure regulator but i need to keep the fuel pump at a constant pressure regardless right?
Also can someone tell me which is pressure and which is return. These are the fuel lines entering the engine bay. Red arrow is driver side, white is front. The pic was taken from the top of the engine bay.

Big line is supply, smaller line is return. Fuel pump is controlled by oil pressure - so hook everything up the way it was, gauge wise. Once the sender reads 4 psi, the pump will run continuously. When you first turn the key on, it will run for a few seconds & stop to prime the system - it will be just like with the TBI.
I just want to warn you - I came on here today to add an update to my engine swap regarding the fuel pump. I'd go ahead though & do what your doing because my problem may just be a bad fuel pump. But if you have the same problem that I'm having, then that particular pump doesn't have enough volume for a carb.
What's happening is my carb float bowls go totally dry on sustained full or heavy throttle. There's a long, steep hill near my house where I can get up to 70 mph, and just before I get to the top, it runs out of fuel. Let off the gas, & it comes back to life.
So I'm shopping right now for an inline external fuel pump. I'll just leave the original in the tank & suck through it - much easier than dropping the tank. I'll update my thread now & post my progress there.
EDIT: Woah ... failure to read post date! Sorry!
