i have this 90 blazer that wont start if u prime it it will start and run for seconds... my first guess was my fuel pump aint workin.. and i dont think i can hear it kick in.. but it has a alarm system on it so my question is could that anti theft system hinder the fuel pump from workin and if so is there a way i can by pass that system because i just dont need it haha if not would u also assume that i should just purchase a fuel pump and go from there?

 

It is possible that there is an aftermarket alarm that is causing your problems. Something like that is going to be near impossible for us to help you with though.

We can start with the basics though. Is the check engine light on? If so, run through the procedure on troublecodes.net to read the codes.

Have you checked the fuel pressure? You will need a TBI adapter to test the fuel pressure, but it can be a very informative test.
