Default 1990 s10 blazer stereo

I'm going to upgrade the complete system in my '90 S10 Blazer Tahoe. Probably a Pioneer or JVC deck with USB and Bluetooth. Nothing fancy as far as amps, subs, or anything like that, just a nice simple basic system running off of the decks power.
My main question here is the speakers...4"x6" in the dash and 6"x9" in the back side panels.
The question is...Which speakers have any of you out there upgraded to (brand and model) in these locations and what do you think sounded and performed the best as far as speaker make and model in these sizes in this vehicle? Also, what speakers had the best fit in the factory holes, depth wise etc?

I have installed Pioneer 4X6 Plates in the dash and Pioneer 6X9 5 Way in the rear. I had to make a spacer for the rear speaker as the mounting depth is shallow. Speakers sound great and fills the vehical with sound. (I installed a 400hz crossover for the front) Pioneer recomends for full power handling. See the link below for a Pic of my rear 6X9 speakers.

vls people are gonna be ashin on your 6x9's! haha

iv got infinity 4x6's i had to trim a bit off the plate that goes over it but thats for an 04. they sound great but i always figure you get what you pay for. i also had some alpine type s 6x9's for my cavalier a while back and those could throw out bass. i just wonder what the type r 6x9s could do!

my only suggestion is that if you're running an after market radio you should change the crossover point to about 80hz. That way you have no low end distortion. if you run stock unit, they typically have built in crossovers to keep distortion down
