Do a google search on GM tilt steering column. You will find that there a 3 bolts in the column that will work their way loose. My local mechanic charged me an hours worth of labor to do mine just a few months ago. Most shops will remove two of the three bolts apply locktite to them and re-install the two bolts. (The third bolt requires a lot more disassembly of the column to get at.) Mine steering wheel is nice and tight. There a few tutorials on the internet to do this same job but since my mechaninc new all about it and the fix and the labor was not too bad I just let them do it. Below is a link to a previous thread on the same subject.
