Default 1991 Instrument Cluster Repair/Replacement

Hello to those who are reading this post. I am new to this forum, and hoping that this community can help me with your experience and knowledge. I recently got a 1991 S10 Blazer. I'm in love with the truck, but it needs some TLC in order to get to where I want it. I am very new to doing mechanic work and am fairly ignorant when it comes to some of the technical jargon.

My first concern is that the speedometer, odometer, and blinkers don't appear on the instrument cluster. It is a digital cluster. After doing some research, I have found that I can have it repaired at a shop (which will be expensive and I would like to avoid), send the cluster to be repaired, or purchase a refurbished one and install it myself. I am not entirely confident in my ability to repair it myself.

What I'm wondering is if there could possibly be an easy fix, or a suggested person to send the cluster to and any advise you may offer. I am pretty good with tools, but lack the experience and know-how that so many of you possess. Thanks for taking time to read this and I hope that you all will enable me to learn how to do some of these things on my own.
