1991 S10 Blazer Fuel Pump Issue
hello i have a 1991 S10 Blazer 4dr with a 4.3l auto and 4x4 in it i have replaced the fuel pump, the fuel lines, the fuel relays, and filter's and even put a new rear wiring harness in the truck and still the fuel pump refuses to even try to pump can someone please tell me whats wrong with my truck thanks
gm dealer as in the dealership its self? Good! they either gave you an ac delco or a delphi, both is fine. they rarely go bad unless they have 200k miles on em.
Sounds like you have a broken wire somewhere. or a bad ground. Have you checked to see if you have power coming out of the wire at the pump?

Yes i have Power in the system right down to the pump and everything else try's when i try to start the truck but im not hearing anything from the fuel pump and i'm not getting any fuel anywhere in the system should i take the pump back and get another one
and when i put the new harness in the rear of the truck i mad sure to clean all the grounds because the former owner had been in there doing a crappy trailer wiring install and had tapped in to six different wires just to make it work so i replaced the harness thinking that was my problem
Almost sounds like the pumps bad. that rarely happens, but hey. its still just a plastic/metal part so it can happen. Try knocking a piece of wood against the tank. if it turns on then, you know its the pump causing troubles.
If you return the pump, ask the clerk if it was an delphi or ac delco.

Have you been able to find your trouble?
I just read your post and made me think of a few years back.
I had a 97 s10 blazer that needed a fuel pump.
I bought one from the internet that was suppose to be oem.
Got it and installed it.Everything was good and back together.
When I went to start it the pump sounded quiet and weird.
It wouldn't start!
Upon further inspection the polarity was reversed.
Once corrected it ran great.
Hope you get it fixed if you haven't all ready.
