Try disconnecting your choke and take it for a test ride, Its might be the problem. I had this problem on my 1986 S10 pickup with the 2.8 TBI, It would idle pretty damn high and it didn't take the gas well.

Thanks, but swartlkk hit the nail on the head.

I bought the sensor, (figuring I could return it if I didn't use it) and checked for voltage to the old sensor. It was there, exactly as he described it. (5v on yellow, good ground on black) The old sensor had extremely high resistance (Needle didn't even move on my meter), whereas the new sensor had much less resistance (needle moved). I took that as a sign to put in the new sensor.

After the install, the blazer was running fine, and no SES light.

I think that about fixes it for now.
