Default 1993 Chevrolet S10 Blazer Issues

Hey, im new to this forum and im having a few issues with my Blazer that I just purchased...

I just pruchased a 1993 Blazer for $100, i was told it didn't run and it had a few small issues...

I noticed the Truck doesn't have spark, i changed the cap/rotor after i finally drilled out the broke off bolt in the dist and nothing... Plugs/wires are new as well . ( I had the truck started and drovei t around the block the day i got it here but it wont start since that point )

It came with a digital dash and the dash itself does not come on, i checked the fuses and i found nothing, what is a common issue with this specific cluster..

Other than whats listed it needs alittle body work (rust and such) and a set of headlights...

Thanks in advance

Pull your cap off and crank it for a second make sure the rotot spins. Timing chain could have broke. If you got no power going to the distibutor then run your own. A $100 truck is always good for ghetto rigging stuff

But the truck actually ran and drove a few times tahn it started doing this again with the whole " NO SPARK " issue, so im going to hope it's not the (TC). Now as for running power to the Distributor how would i do that exactly?

STILL NO SPARK!!!!! ...

HELP..... Could it be the coil? I was told that the Ign modual is a common issue, or the circular peice that is on top of the distributor.... Other than those three things im still really un sure what it could be, and i need to get this truck done b4 the weather gets to bad to drive my GrandPrix GTP....

Plus i want to have alittle fun on the trails =)

HELP!!!

The coil and ignition module can be tested at most autoparts stores. Start there.
