I think you need a new one! I bought one for my 92 from the Chevy house just a couple of years back.

Default *UPDATE* ordered new rubber air intake hose..gonna go from there :-/

just ordered the air intake hose offline for $15.00 with free shipping should be getting that soon.. hopefully that will get it running once its in gear...if that doesn't do it....one of my buddies that's kinda good with cars told me to change the fuel filter...so that's my next step if replacing the rubber hose doesn't work..if that don't work i was told to put some fuel cleaner in gas tank?? someone recommended sea-foam ? and then told me to get some new gas "super" because the gas that's in there now has been sitting in the tank for god knows how long.. quick question should i take the old gas out before i put new gas in ? and anyone recommend a good fuel cleaner? is sea-foam good? thanks!!!!

I only use seafoam to clean out the engine, not the fuel system. For that, I use Chevron Fuel System Treatment Plus. Good stuff!

Default UPDATE..lookin good "i think"

kool i will get some of the fuel cleaner you suggested..ok so i had a buddy come over and hes smart with trucks we changed the fuel filter in it.. looked it over and we think it may be out of gas!!! hahah o man if this is the problem im gonna flip haha so im off to work now had no time to stop and get gas so tomorrow im gonna get that fuel cleaner stuff and get some gas i cross my fingers this is the problem... cause now it will start but it wont even idle or it will for 2 seconds then shut off .. the gas gauge is really low i just thought it had enough gas.. so im prob gonna drain old gas "if there even is any left" and put some new gas in..wish me luck guys!!!!

Your truck should still run even with that hose removed, just not recommended.

My 94 S10 Blazer is doing the same thing (as the original post). The fuel pressure was low when we tested it, we replaced the fuel pump, and it still stalled every few feet, if it stayed cranked long enough to get it into gear. We've checked the pressure and color of the fuel all the way into the manifold, and it appears pretty clean. I was reading all the comments and looking at the picture above. In the lower right quadrant of the picture, in the bottom of the manifold, is there supposed to be a hole, or am I missing something? Haha. I realize how ridiculous it sounds, but I really don't know much about engines.
