Hey people just bought a blazer always been curious about these trucks like the way they look unfortunately it doesnt go into gear unless i put it in D1 and work my way up gradually is there anyone here that can help me out with this thanks

 

I would change the shift solenoid...

 

I did extent research i was hoping i would hear that but i was reading theres a few if them so when i go to autozone which do i ask for?

Sorry guys havent been able to repky but lasr night i got out of work early and pulled out the oil pan and tested the silenoids and both showed 23 ohm i read somewhere it should read around that ballpark all saw a few of metal shavings not good i know is there anything else that can cause it not to drive on d only d1

 

Im going ti end up rebiulding the entire tranny fiund out its only 90 buck.for the kit frim a shop by where i live... Thanks for the help guys
